In the verse of the sword — a favorite of Osama Bin Laden — the Quran tells all Muslims, “Slay the unbelievers wherever you find them” (Surah 9:5). That’s not a metaphor, but an edict to go and kill.

Despite that, we’re told Islam is a religion of peace, and the ideas Muhammad spread are gaining ground in our nation. Muslim politicians are winning local, state, and federal elections. The imposition of Sharia won’t be far behind, unless we force Congress to act now.

While in Israel, we also visited the Nova Music Festival memorial, where Hamas monsters fulfilled their Sharia duty to torture, rape, kill, and take hostages.

Our hearts ached as we walked past large posters of the beautiful young people whom Hamas mercilessly murdered early on the morning of October 7.

Up to 20 minutes by car away from the festival, Israeli flags marked the place where Hamas terrorists and Gaza civilians slaughtered those trying to escape.

It’s beyond words to be standing where a hellish massacre took place and to look in the faces of the victims. All young. All happy. All with bright futures ahead. And all cut down.

Many of us wept as we walked among the posters.

It was stunning to see ex-hostage Noa Argamani on stage as Friends of Zion founder Mike Evans honored her and other returned hostages. She had not come back to the site since the day Hamas kidnapped her on a motorcycle as she screamed and reached out for help.

That moment, caught on video, went worldwide. For many, it’s one of the most heart-stabbing images from that horrific time.

But it’s also one more facet of brutal Islamic Sharia . . . which Muslims want to impose on America.

I am asking you to send as many faxes as possible to Congress, demanding that Congress VOTE YES on the Preserving a Sharia-Free America Act, H.R. 5722 and S. 3009.

And this may stun you as much as it did me. Sharia law, which calls for decapitating apostates, amputating thieves, and whipping those who drink alcoholic beverages, is gaining acceptance here in the U.S.

A recent Rasmussen Reports survey found that more than 4 in 10 voters, aged 18-24, view Sharia law positively. And 27% of voters under 30 would support a community living under Sharia.

Sadly, these Sharia-friendly young adults most certainly don’t understand what Hamas did to Israel on October 7. Nor do they recognize the agenda driving Muslims like . . .

• Adil Chaerkaoui, a Montreal imam who urges Muslims to get ready for “hunting season” and to practice shooting with sniper rifles. In an X post, he quotes a saying attributed to Muhammad, “Shoot, O sons of Ishmael, for your father was an archer. Shoot. . . .”

• Usama Abdulghani, a Dearborn, Michigan, imam who recently celebrated the slaughter of some 1,200 Jews and others, by labeling the October 7 attack a “glorious success” in which “daring commandos” triumphed in storming the “Zionist strongholds.”
