Never Forget . . .
Three-year anniversary of the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust
Today I will gather at the Western Wall in Jerusalem with 1,000 other Christian leaders from around the world. Together, we will observe the third anniversary of the October 7, 2023, massacre which left 1,221 Israelis and Jews from around the world dead.
Yet it seems much of the world has not only forgotten this massacre, but they are also attempting to gaslight the world into blaming the victims.
Israel needs your help like never before. Will you stand in the gap with us by making a generous donation today?
Three years ago today, the world watched in horror as Hamas propaganda videos began flooding the internet.
Palestinian terrorists, civilians, and yes, even United Nations salaried employees took part in some of the most gruesome crimes of humanity the modern world has ever witnessed. But despite the ruthless brutality, the Palestinian people — along with far too many people here in the U.S. and around the world — celebrated the gore.
Hamas and Palestinian civilians gleefully posted videos they took as they burned entire families alive in their homes, rounded up young Jewish women to be gang-raped as torture, murdered children with their bare hands, and beheaded babies.
One photo from that time remains burned into my mind — a photo of a toddler’s room in the once serene village of Kibbutz Be’eri. Bullet holes riddled the child’s bedroom, his tiny mattress soaked in blood. The Palestinians butchered the child for the crime of simply being a Jew.
I remember the Hamas video showing Palestinians dragging 19-year-old Naama Levy by the hair, the seat of her gray sweatpants soaked with blood from the unspeakable torture they had already put her through before they imprisoned her in a dark Gaza tunnel for 477 days.
I will never forget Noa Argamani screaming and begging for her life, as Hamas bound her and threw her over a motorbike like a sack of potatoes only as she later become a Hamas torture toy for the next 245 days. Or the agony on her boyfriend's face as Avinatan Or watched the jihadis take her, before he himself was marched to Gaza’s dungeons to be held prisoner for an unimaginable 738 days.
Namma, Noa, and Avinatan managed to survive their captivity; 1,221 other innocent Israelis and Jews from around the world did not.
People like the Bibas children, 9-month-old Kfir and 4-year-old Ariel, who were strangled by a Hamas attacker’s bare hands before having their bodies kicked like trash bags and pelted with stones after the jihadis murdered their mother and captured their father.
Will you remember them now?
Because somehow, in the three years since Islam’s latest attempt to wipe Israel and the Jewish people off the map, the world continues to blame the victims, Israelis, for the singular reason that they are Jews.
Israel needs you now more than ever.
Christians in Defense of Israel needs you more than ever.
Every day we stand in the gap for the world’s only Jewish state in Washington and around the world. That’s why I am in Israel today.
But we need your direct financial support to continue doing this God-honoring work.
Please make a generous one-time gift or recurring monthly donation today to support our work defending Israel.
Please pray with me today for the families of those who lost their lives on October 7, 2023. May their memories be a blessing.
Please pray also for those who survived, and the safety of all Israeli and Jewish people worldwide.
“I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed” (Gen. 12:3).
