This Experience Changed Her Life

One trip to Israel ignited Bri’s calling

“Oh, you’re a Christian? I’ve always wanted to visit a Christian church. Will you take me?” That surprising question came from a Jewish student on Bri’s college campus. And it happened because Bri had the courage to start a conversation. But that confidence didn’t come naturally. It came after a life-changing Covenant Journey trip to Israel.

Today, I want to share Bri’s story — and how supporters like you helped spark a mission that now reaches from American campuses to the Middle East.

Help send the next student to Israel.

Before Covenant Journey, Bri already supported Israel. But when anti-Israel events like Apartheid Week took place on campus at the University of Southern California, she didn’t feel equipped to respond. That changed after she experienced the Holy Land firsthand.

After walking where the stories of the Bible unfolded and seeing the land of Israel with her own eyes, Bri returned to campus with new confidence and conviction.

“My biggest calling was to have conversations about Israel,” she says. “If people would let me, I would share about my trip.” And those conversations reached people across campus — Jewish students, Arab and Palestinian groups, and friends in her Christian sorority. Some agreed with her. Others didn’t. “But the conversations continued,” she says.

And one of them led to that unforgettable moment. A Jewish student asking Bri to take her to a Christian church. Experiences like that happen because young Christians are given the chance to see Israel for themselves.

Help raise more leaders who will stand for Israel.

Bri’s story didn’t stop on campus.

Her passion for storytelling took her into the film industry, where she interned on productions connected with the Disney Channel, DreamWorks TV, and Netflix. There she discovered something powerful: Movies are a language of their own. They can cross cultures and reach places that traditional ministries cannot.

That realization — combined with her Covenant Journey experience — gave Bri a new vision: to use film to share the gospel in the Middle East and North Africa.

After graduating, Bri joined Cru for a missions internship in Paris. There she helped produce and promote a powerful film telling the story of a Christian from North Africa. The film was shown across several Arab countries — reaching audiences that included military leaders, diplomats, and other influential figures. More than 1,500 people were exposed to its message.

Even more remarkable, one Middle Eastern government was so supportive of the project that it helped fund part of the production. God is opening doors in places many people never imagined possible.

And Bri says her Covenant Journey experience played a major role in shaping that calling. “Covenant Journey is a big part of why I am passionate about the Middle East,” she shares. Seeing Israel firsthand helped her better understand the region — and deepened her desire to reach people there with the gospel.

Today Bri hopes to continue producing films that share powerful stories of faith across the Middle East and North Africa. But her journey began with one life-changing trip to Israel.

And that’s why your support matters so much. Because when students experience the Holy Land firsthand, their faith grows deeper, their understanding becomes clearer, and many go on to influence the world in extraordinary ways.

Give today to send the next student to Israel.

Bri is just one of the many young leaders whose lives have been transformed through Covenant Journey. God is raising up a generation of Christian leaders who will stand for Israel and share the gospel around the world. Your support is helping shape the next generation of leaders for Christ and for Israel.
